Sellers received nearly 93% of their original list price, on average. The average time a home spent on the market was 83 days, up 15% from last year.<\/p>\n<p>Existing-home sales continue to outperform new-home construction as inventory grows and prices remain relatively stable, SABOR reported.<\/p>\n<p>The rental market also remained active, with an average monthly rent of $1,863.<\/p>\n<p>Across Texas, home sales increased by a little more than 1% in May compared to a year earlier.
